Our holy day… Merry Christmas!
With all the fuss of the past few days I guess I never got back to finishing the postings of our Christmas Novena. Alas, I hope I may be excused.
I have spent the last few hours putting together a little “Christmas Blog Present” which I shot today at my parish, the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis. I am NO video expert and I certainly don’t claim it to be any kind of cinematic classic, but I hope it will give you a snapshot of the beauty and wonder of this most holy place and the most beautiful and solemn masses presented there.
Our Cathedral Choir is truly one of the wonders of the world. Their voices are angelic and every week they inspire the faithful in such a special way. They are truly a gift from Heaven and I would love for each of them to know just how much they mean to all of us in the pews! Glory to God in the Highest! (my only regret is the audio quality is kinda poor! sorry!)
If you are able to glimpse a the littlest altar boy dressed in red vestments and carrying a candle, that would be my sweet boy. God bless him for his love to serve the Lord in this way!!!
May you all be filled with His peace which is born onto us again this most holy day. May He reign in your hearts and guide you toward His eternal light.
Peace and joy to all of goodwill…
