I am so very happy after the MOST wonderful weekend spent here in St. Louis.  My daughter’s First Communion was so very special and filled with lots of little stories I should very much like to write about.  However, my Mother is visiting and it seems I will not have time to write for a few more days.  I thought I would say thank you for the prayers and put up this photo while she is busy reading…

Deo Gratias!

  1. Blessings!! He is Risen!!

I blog to you on behalf of Fr. Frank Pavone and Priests for Life. Fr. Pavone recently posted two videos on You Tube in which he describes and demonstrates the two most common abortion techniques, using the actual instruments of abortion and the words found in medical textbooks and court testimony.

You can view these videos at

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=us_y9GP_-DA (Dismemberment abortion) and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QBOAPleF1t0 (Suction abortion).

These videos are part of a new project called, “Is This What You Mean?” It aims to educate the public about the nature of abortion and to challenge public officials and candidates who support the legality of abortion to admit what it is. A full description of the project is at http://www.priestsforlife.org/action/abortion-procedure-reve aled.htm .

We are asking blog moderators to post a link or set-up an area on their blog for easy access to view our two You Tube videos.

As Fr. Pavone has quoted in endless homilies and talks about public servants who are pro-choice, there is a difference between serving the public and killing the public. Abortion has lost its meaning and is just a word to some politicians. In fact, as long as it has been since Jan.22 1973, the public is still not aware of what an abortion is and what it looks like. Again, we urge you to view Fr. Pavone’s demonstrations and forward this to anybody unaware such as parents, pastors, teachers, government officials etc….

    In Christ,

  2. Dear David,

    Praise be Jesus Christ.

While I am very supportive of the work that you all do to try and protect the innocent souls being murdered by a society which gives this horrific action little thought, I must also confess my squeemishness at the new tactic of showing these videos. I understand that you wish for those pictures/videos to be seen, but my heart can not take viewing such matter. My heart is united to those cruelly mistreated and my imagination already contains great enough thoughts as to what these horrific “medical practices” may look like.

We all pray with sincere hearts that our culture will become aware of the atrocity of abortion and through the intercession of St. John the Baptist, who worshiped our “fetal Lord” while he was still in the womb, that a new culture of life will be born for ever and ever — AMEN!

  3. I would agree wit you, Aeternus, entirely on this. I can do more by simple prayer than I could by watching these images. I can understand the frustration of those who are anti- abortion, and how it must seem the world doesn’t seem to care, and how they must try very hard to come up with new ways of making this perpetual atrocity public. and I believe they are doing that but please, no more images, instead reflect on the beauty of the new- born, the promise of hope to come, when the world finally wakens up to the horror of it all.

  6. I received this email too, and both you and Ann have spoken the words that were in my heart, Aeternus. Thank you. I watched one such video a number of years ago, and I never will again.

Your daughter looks just lovely in her First Communion dress.

  7. Yes, i think this is not the way we would all care to battle the atrocities being committed. I think we shall just continue to petition our Lord and His mother to change the hearts of those who have turned to stone.
